Doormats

Coir doormats are constructed of natural coir/coco (coconut husk) fibers and have a Latex backing (PVC) to hold them in place. Each doormat is made with three layers of high UV paint and a UV/water resistant sealant. Because these doormats are made of renewable and natural materials, they are not meant to last a lifetime and are more of a decorative piece.

Recommend using a covered entrance and keeping the doormat dry, out of the rain, and out of direct sunlight. Water will cause the doormat to swell and shed because it is comprised of natural coconut husk fibers. Because of the natural coconut fibers in your doormat shed, recommend shaking it or vacuuming it once a week or so to free any dirt.

The coconut fibers will change color and hold the water if it becomes saturated with water; you can hang it to dry for a few days. The top is made of 100% polyester fabric with a PVC backing.
